Kickstarter Tops 100,000 Launched Projects

Kickstarter announced Tuesday that it passed a major milestone: More than 100,000 projects have been launched on the crowdfunding service

Just under 44% of those projects have been successfully funded, raising a total of $535 million. The vast majority of launched projects are categorized under Film & Video (26,343), Music (22,358) and Publishing (11,595)
